Effective Date: 1 May 2026  ·  Last Updated: 26 May 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using any services provided by The Clinica Pvt. Ltd. These terms establish the rights and responsibilities of both patients and the clinic, and form the basis of our relationship with you.

1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or using any service provided by The Clinica Pvt. Ltd. ("The Clinica", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

These terms apply to all patients, visitors, and users of our services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2Medical Services

The Clinica provides outpatient medical and dental consultations, diagnostic services, and related healthcare at our facility in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. All clinical services are provided by qualified, Nepal Medical Council (NMC) registered practitioners.

The information provided on our website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical guidance specific to your condition.

In the event of a medical emergency, please call emergency services immediately or proceed to the nearest hospital emergency department. Our clinic operates as an outpatient facility and is not equipped for emergency inpatient care.

3Appointments & Scheduling

Appointments can be booked online through our booking system, by telephone, or by visiting the clinic in person. Walk-in patients are welcome subject to availability.

We request that patients arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment time to complete any necessary registration or paperwork.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 2 hours in advance by phone or through the booking system. This allows us to offer your slot to other patients.

Repeated no-shows without prior notice may result in a requirement to pay a booking deposit for future appointments.

4Fees & Payment

Consultation fees and service charges are payable at the time of your visit unless a prior billing arrangement has been agreed in writing with our administration team.

Fees are subject to change and current pricing is available from our reception team. We accept cash and major digital payment methods.

Patients are responsible for confirming their insurance coverage prior to their visit. The Clinica will provide documentation to assist with insurance claims but cannot guarantee reimbursement from any insurer.

In the event of a billing dispute, please contact our administration team within 30 days of receiving your invoice. We will endeavour to resolve all disputes promptly and fairly.

5Patient Responsibilities

Patients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information regarding their medical history, current medications, allergies, and any relevant personal circumstances that may affect their care.

Patients must follow the treatment plan and medical advice provided by their doctor. The Clinica accepts no liability for outcomes resulting from the failure to follow prescribed treatment.

Patients are expected to treat all staff, other patients, and visitors with respect. We reserve the right to decline service to individuals who engage in abusive, threatening, or disruptive behaviour.

6Prescription & Medication

Prescriptions are issued by our registered medical practitioners based on clinical assessment. The Clinica does not issue prescriptions without a consultation.

Patients must not misuse, share, or sell any prescribed medications. Doing so may result in termination of our services and may have legal consequences.

Prescription medication requests for repeat prescriptions require a review consultation to ensure your treatment remains appropriate and safe.

7Limitation of Liability

The Clinica and its staff will provide services with reasonable skill and care in accordance with accepted medical standards. However, medicine involves inherent uncertainties, and we cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

To the extent permitted by law, The Clinica shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our services, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a patient under the laws of Nepal.

Our website and its content are provided for informational purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without our prior written permission.

We make reasonable efforts to keep our website accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that all information is complete, current, or error-free.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.

10Changes to These Terms
